The Job

We’re looking for a talented and driven Embedded/Firmware Engineer to join our team and help us push the boundaries of healthcare technology. You will be at the forefront of developing the firmware that powers our innovative AI-driven solutions, ensuring they operate seamlessly and reliably in real-world healthcare settings. Your work will be critical in ensuring that our systems deliver timely and accurate information to healthcare professionals, improving patient outcomes and alleviating the burden on overworked healthcare staff.

In this role, you will focus on the following areas of interest:

  • Firmware Development: Design, develop, and optimize firmware for our healthcare monitoring devices, ensuring they are efficient, reliable, and secure.

  • System Integration: Work closely with our hardware and software teams to integrate your firmware into our broader system, ensuring smooth communication and operation.

  • Testing and Validation: Conduct rigorous testing and validation of your firmware to ensure it meets the high standards required in healthcare applications.

  • Optimization: Continuously refine and optimize firmware performance, considering power consumption, processing speed, and reliability.

  • Documentation: Maintain clear and detailed documentation of your work to ensure easy collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in developing embedded firmware for microcontrollers and other embedded systems.

  • Proficiency in C/C++ and/or Rust and/or Python

  • Experience with Ubuntu and/or Linux for Tegra

  • Knowledge of communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, and wireless protocols (e.g., Bluetooth, Wi-Fi).

  • Familiarity with debugging tools, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other hardware debugging instruments.

  • Ability to read and understand circuit diagrams and work closely with hardware engineers.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • Experience in the medical device or healthcare technology field is a plus.

  • Experience with NVIDIA Jetson platform is a big plus
