Help us build the future of care

At Teton.ai, we believe the future of healthcare depends on empowering those who care for others. We're building intelligent, human-centered AI systems that support healthcare staff - giving them more time, better tools, and ultimately improving outcomes for patients and residents. Our technology is already making a difference, and now we’re scaling from deploying batches of hundreds to thousands of systems on a monthly basis.

To do that, we need someone who knows how to take complex hardware from the low-volume, prototype stage to serial production - without losing speed, quality, or soul. Someone who thrives in the ambiguity of early-stage builds, but who’s already seen the other side: a robust supply chain, efficient operations, and products shipping daily, globally.

We’re looking for a VP of Manufacturing and Supply Chain who’s not just an expert in scaling operations - but who believes in our mission. You’ll be joining the leadership team at a critical inflection point: our hardware is proven, demand is growing, and we need to build the muscle to deliver at scale, globally, and reliably. If you’re excited by the idea of building systems that serve real people and can evolve fast - this is your place.

Your responsibilities

  • Build and scale Teton.ai’s hardware manufacturing and supply chain capabilities from the current level to robust, large-scale deployment - defining not just how we scale, but what the right long-term architecture looks like for cost, speed, quality, and flexibility.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive manufacturing and assembly roadmap, outlining how products should be industrialized - from early prototyping through to global scale-up. This includes defining critical design-for-assembly principles and collaborating with R&D to integrate manufacturing feedback into product design.

  • Design and oversee Teton’s assembly systems and factory layout, including production line configuration, material flow, station design, takt-time balancing, and automation opportunities - ensuring that we can scale safely and cost-effectively while maintaining agility.

  • Define and execute quality strategy, including implementing robust in-process and end-of-line quality control systems, developing Quality Control Plans (APQP), conducting PFMEAs, and ensuring appropriate test coverage across all product stages.

  • Lead procurement strategy, vendor development, and cost management - including supplier identification/qualification, competitive tendering, cost modeling, and building a resilient supplier base across geographies.

  • Optimize internal and external operations for prototyping, pilot runs, and full-rate production, building a global supply chain and manufacturing footprint that balances speed, cost, and quality.

  • Design and implement the full delivery network - including logistics, warehousing, inventory management, and last-mile deployment - to ensure reliable, scalable, and trackable product distribution.

  • Establish robust reverse logistics and aftersales service capabilities, including processes for returns, repairs, maintenance, and refurbishments. Oversee lifecycle management strategies that include customer-site upgrades, remote diagnostics, and physical component swaps, ensuring uptime and long-term satisfaction.

  • Deploy operational and quality systems including ERP, supplier portals, inventory traceability, real-time dashboards, quality reporting, and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO standards or equivalents) to support scalability and accountability.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, R&D, and Regulatory teams to ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability, testability, field serviceability, and compliance from the outset.

  • Drive continuous improvement culture, using data, metrics, and lean / Six Sigma methodologies to identify bottlenecks, reduce lead times, improve yields, and drive down costs without compromising quality.

  • Act as a core member of the senior leadership team, shaping company strategy, supporting fundraising efforts, and preparing the business operationally for major customer deployments.

What we are looking for

  • Track record (minimum 5-years of work experience) of scaling hardware products from prototype to high-volume production, ideally in regulated industries such as medtech, safety-critical electronics, or consumer health tech - where quality, reliability, and traceability matter.

  • Strong manufacturing planning skills, with hands-on experience designing and implementing factory systems, assembly processes, and production layouts that enable efficient, repeatable, and cost-effective scale-up.

  • Deep understanding of quality engineering and electronics testing (familiarity with the APQP framework is a plus), including defining in-line and end-of-line test strategies, developing Control Plans, conducting PFMEAs, and building feedback loops between test data and design/manufacturing improvements.

  • Experience in supply chain and procurement strategy, from sourcing and qualifying suppliers to driving cost reductions, securing lead-time reliability, and managing global vendor relationships across Europe and Asia.

  • Proven ability to design and implement operational systems, including ERP, traceability, and quality tools that support scalable, compliant, and real-time production environments.

  • Comfortable operating in regulated environments, with working knowledge of ISO standards (e.g., ISO 13485, ISO 9001) and the ability to integrate compliance into design and production processes.

  • Aftersales and lifecycle mindset, including experience with reverse logistics, service models, upgrades, and long-term maintenance planning.

  • Cross-functional collaboration skills - you’ve worked closely with R&D, Product, and Regulatory teams to ensure manufacturability, field serviceability, and compliance are embedded from day one.

  • Strategic thinking and operational execution - you balance long-term roadmap planning with the ability to move fast, troubleshoot problems on the ground, and iterate quickly as the business grows.

  • Education: A degree (BSc or above) in Manufacturing, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a related discipline. Training in lean, six sigma, or quality systems is a plus.
