The Job
We’re looking for an Industrial Design Engineer to join our Hardware Team and help shape the next generation of healthcare devices.
You will take ownership of a product family within the Teton ecosystem, designing edge computing devices, cameras, and accessories that empower nurses to deliver better care.
In this role, you will focus on:
Product Ownership: Design and develop a cohesive product family of devices and accessories.
Mechanical Design: Create appealing, functional, and ergonomic mechanics that blend usability and aesthetics.
Design for Manufacturing (DFM): Work closely with manufacturers, understanding molding, tooling, and production constraints.
Prototyping & Validation: Build and iterate prototypes, and design test rigs to validate mechanical solutions.
Collaboration: Work hands-on with electrical, firmware, and software engineers to bring designs to life.
Qualifications
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design Engineering, or related field with 4 years of experience.
Strong experience taking products from concept to production to market.
Proficient in CAD software and parametric modelling (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar).
Deep understanding of ergonomics and usability with a consumer mindset.
Skilled in prototyping, iteration, and cross-disciplinary teamwork.
Hands-on, self-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Strong Plus
Experience with CFD or thermal analysis.
Experience researching user behavior and incorporating insights into design.
Hands-on experience building test rigs or validation setups.
