The Job

We’re looking for an Industrial Design Engineer to join our Hardware Team and help shape the next generation of healthcare devices.

You will take ownership of a product family within the Teton ecosystem, designing edge computing devices, cameras, and accessories that empower nurses to deliver better care.

In this role, you will focus on:

  • Product Ownership: Design and develop a cohesive product family of devices and accessories.

  • Mechanical Design: Create appealing, functional, and ergonomic mechanics that blend usability and aesthetics.

  • Design for Manufacturing (DFM): Work closely with manufacturers, understanding molding, tooling, and production constraints.

  • Prototyping & Validation: Build and iterate prototypes, and design test rigs to validate mechanical solutions.

  • Collaboration: Work hands-on with electrical, firmware, and software engineers to bring designs to life.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design Engineering, or related field with 4 years of experience.

  • Strong experience taking products from concept to production to market.

  • Proficient in CAD software and parametric modelling (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar).

  • Deep understanding of ergonomics and usability with a consumer mindset.

  • Skilled in prototyping, iteration, and cross-disciplinary teamwork.

  • Hands-on, self-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Strong Plus

  • Experience with CFD or thermal analysis.

  • Experience researching user behavior and incorporating insights into design.

  • Hands-on experience building test rigs or validation setups.
