About Us

At Teton, we are redefining the role of healthcare workers through cutting-edge AI technology. In the face of a global nursing shortage, our solutions provide vital support to overburdened health systems.

With thousands of residents and patient rooms across 4 countries and 2 continents already benefiting from our technology, we are rapidly expanding our reach. What sets us apart is our relentless focus on product excellence and user experience, deploying solutions at speed that make a tangible difference in patient care. If you are not ready to work more than 9-17 this isn't for you.

The Job

We’re looking for an experienced and hands-on Field Applications Engineer to join our Platform team and help bridge the gap between cutting-edge technology and real-world healthcare environments. You will be located in the US to support customers in our fastest growing market and will be traveling to customers and sites to ensure successful implementation and continuously improve our product and service.

In this role, you will work closely with our customers and internal teams to ensure smooth deployment, operation, and optimization of Teton’s AI and IoT-based solutions in hospitals and clinics. You will be the technical expert at the interface between engineering and healthcare, helping our users succeed with our platform in the field.

About half your time will be spent directly with customers—implementing our solutions, gathering feedback, and supporting on-site operations. The rest will focus on projects that enhance the user experience or improve tooling. Experience with deep learning or edge AI is a plus, as is a drive to continually learn and expand your technical skillset.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Enablement: Work directly with healthcare partners to ensure seamless deployment and operation of our embedded and AI-driven solutions.

  • Implementation & Integration: Configure, test, and troubleshoot IoT and edge systems in real-world environments.

  • Reliability & Support: Diagnose and resolve complex issues across our fleet of devices, ensuring system reliability in healthcare-critical settings.

  • Technical Advisory: Act as a trusted technical partner to customers, translating their needs into actionable feedback for the engineering team.

  • Embedded & Edge Systems: Work hands-on with Jetson-powered devices, Linux-based environments, and containerized software deployments.

  • Collaboration: Partner closely with the Platform and AI teams to improve tools, documentation, and deployment processes.

  • Knowledge Sharing: Contribute to internal and external documentation, training materials, and technical workshops.

  • Field Work: Support on-site installations and troubleshooting when required (occasional travel).

Qualifications:

Must-have

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate across diverse teams.

  • Hands-on experience with embedded systems, IoT, or edge computing deployments.

  • Proficiency with Linux-based environments (Ubuntu, Docker, shell tools) and comfort troubleshooting at the system level.

  • Strong understanding of networking, device connectivity, and distributed system architecture.

  • Proficiency in working with and integrating cloud APIs

  • Ability to investigate complex issues that span hardware, software, and cloud layers, and deliver clear, actionable solutions.

Nice to have

  • Experience deploying or supporting systems on NVIDIA Jetson or similar embedded AI platforms.

  • Familiarity with AI inference at the edge, computer vision, or sensor fusion.

  • Exposure to cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

  • Comfort using modern DevOps tools (e.g., CI/CD, container orchestration, monitoring) to streamline deployments.

  • Experience in healthcare, regulated environments, or other mission-critical system deployments.

What We Offer

  • Participation in our warrant program (stock options).

  • Work with state-of-the-art technology in a pioneering field.

  • A role where you can make a significant impact on healthcare delivery.
