The Opportunity
As we scale from producing hundreds of units to thousands per month, we’re building up our supply chain muscle.
We’re looking for a hands-on organized Supply Chain specialist to join our growing operations team. This is a great opportunity for someone with early-career experience in supply chain or procurement who wants to get close to the action - helping scale production while improving the systems and processes behind it.
Key Responsibilities:
Own the full purchasing process - from sourcing and requesting quotes to placing POs, tracking deliveries, and handling invoice issues
Identify and qualify new suppliers for direct and indirect commodity groups globally ensuring quality, reliability, and cost-efficiency
Develop strong supplier relationships to secure better pricing, faster lead times, and more favorable payment and shipping terms
Negotiate contracts, discounts, and payment terms to improve Teton’s overall procurement efficiency and margins
Monitor and manage supplier performance (delivery reliability, quality, responsiveness), and phase out underperformers as the operations scale
Track part needs with engineering, warehouse and production to ensure we maintain correct stock levels
Build and maintain tools to track inventory, supplier status, and report on key metrics to the organisation
Collaborate with the warehouse and production teams to ensure material flow is smooth and stockouts are avoided
Contribute to the rollout of the Odoo ERP system, supporting migration of procurement and inventory management processes
Take ownership and grow the supply chain function as we scale - with the opportunity to grow into a team lead role in the next 1-2 years
Qualifications
2-3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain (ideally in a hardware, electronics, or manufacturing setting)
Strong understanding of the purchasing lifecycle: quoting, vendor selection, POs, delivery tracking, and supplier negotiation
Hands-on experience managing supplier relationships and improving supplier terms
Familiarity with basic supply chain principles like payment terms, lead times, MOQ, inventory turnover, cost control and more
Proactive mindset - you don’t wait for tasks, you take ownership and move fast
Excited about building systems and processes from scratch in a startup environment
Strong Plus
Holistic understanding of the supply chain value chain including production and production planning, logistics, warehousing and distribution
Solid understanding of sourcing requirements for electronics - including both custom-made PCBAs and off-the-shelf (OTS) components, as well as broader electronics products (e.g. sensors, power supplies, connectors)
Experience with Odoo ERP Suite
