Teton builds AI systems that monitor residents in hospitals and care homes. The challenge healthcare faces is well known: fewer care staff available for an aging population and, well, you can't be everywhere at once. We tackle this by creating monitoring infrastructure that builds a digital mirror of reality, understanding everything from daytime routines to falls, respiration rate, and sleep patterns from models we train ourselves on hardware we build ourselves.
The design challenge is translating all this data into something approachable for care staff. Something that feels like a natural part of their existing routines rather than forcing a new technocratic workflow on them. This requires designers who have the will to create something new and the humility to create it for the reality care staff work in.
We're in facilities across the US, UK, Denmark, and Switzerland, backed by a Series A. We've reduced falls by 84% in wards where we deploy, and care staff. This is job is in-office in Copenhagen.
The role
You'll be our third designer, working with Julius (head of design) and Anna (design engineer) across all aspects of the product. We're specifically looking for someone who has experience scaling software products. Someone who knows how to make new features feel like charming and natural expansions of the existing product, and knows when to go back and rework old concepts.
Most time will be spent on desktop and mobile apps, with room to work on the website, branding, and service elements like staff onboarding and hardware installation.
